Session I - July 1 through July 12 (Closed July 4th)
Session IV - August 12 through August 23

    Girls entering grades 4 through 12.
  • Tuition:

    $1275 Session 4. Each girl will receive a free Lady Rock basketball. Lunch is available for an additional $75 per session.
    $1175 Session 1. Lunch session 1 - $67.50.
  • Director(s)

    Christina Raiti. Coach Christina Raiti began her high school career at Plainview JFK as a 7th grader before she transferred over to LuHi in 9th Grade. At LuHi she was a 4 year starter and led the Crusaders to their 1st NY State Federation title in 2011. After high school, she went on to play for Trinity College in Hartford, CT, where she was a 2-year captain for the Bantams. After college, Raiti returned back to LuHi where she is currently the Assistant Athletic Director and the Assistant Coach for the powerhouse Girls Varsity team. This past year, she worked alongside other LuHi staff members and help found the 1st ever Mandy's Mark Memorial Classic, a High School All-Star game which helps raise money for Pediatric Cancer Awareness and Research.
    Mike Kaplan(Session IV) Coach Kaplan is the Varsity Girl’s Basketball Coach at Huntington High School where he has guided his team to back-to-back undefeated regular seasons and league championships. He has a record of 41-2 over the past 2 seasons. His knowledge, attention to skill development and dedication has help send dozens of players on to play at every level of college basketball.  Mike played college basketball at SUNY Brockport and had the honor of reaching the NCAA tournament twice, where the team made the Elite 8 and Sweet 16 appearances. He is also the owner of Power One Health and Fitness, where he trains many top basketball players from around Long Island. His reputation as one of the region’s top strength and conditioning coaches is growing rapidly.
  • Program Description

    The LuHi Girls Basketball School is entirely based on meeting the individual needs of every camper. Daily stress is on improving the fundamental skills of the game. Team play is also developed through daily games and contests. The largest percentages of our campers every session are returning players, a sign of our success for over 30 seasons.

    • Morning and afternoon game competitions
    • Individual shooting technique instruction daily
    • Daily lectures
